Troubleshooting

General Notes when working with the car:

  1. Always connect the battery level checker ("beeper")

Problem: If using carolo-cup-2021/scripts/start-nodes.sh: visionnode (VCI) tmux window logs only one line.

Solution: Reset the STM32 and run ./scripts/start-nodes.sh again.

2​

Problem: ssh galaxis@192.168.0.139 -X does not work.

Solution:

  • check, if your computer is connected to the "Galaxis" network ("eduroam" does not work!)
  • check, if the AGX is connected to the "Galaxis" network. Sometimes the AGX does not connect automatically to the router (the router signal is pretty weak).
    • In order to check this, connect a display via a HDMI cable to the AGX and check its wireless connections.
  • After booting the AGX it takes some time, until the AGX connects to the wireless network. Be patient!
